Responsibilities include assigning and directing work to caregivers. Monitoring field staff performance and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving client issues that may arise, ensuring client's shifts are covered and caregiver documentation is complete. Maintain healthy communication with caregivers to facilitate the transaction of information and report between agency and caregivers.

Manage your voicemails and emails throughout the day
Supervisor's reports to department Manager; the Field Manager
Supervise field employees and monitor shifts according to hours approved
Arrange for replacement coverage when needed
Organize caregiver binders and maintain compliance with documents
Update company software (i.e. HHA Exchange)
Communicate with necessary departments regarding clientâ€™s status, incidents, hospitalization, service interruptions, etc.
Maintains confidentiality of all client information in accordance with HIPPA laws and procedures

Direct Care Worker

Assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
Following a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication.
Ensuring the clientâ€™s home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place. You may also be expected to assist with some light housework.
Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks.
Providing mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair.
Transporting or escorting the client to medical and other appointments.
Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs.
